About the HAF Programme
The HAF programme offers a wide range of fun things to do, such as sports, making food, arts and crafts, and other fun ways to learn and improve skills. It is for kids and teens in Reception through Year 11 and takes place during the Easter, summer, and winter school breaks.
Places are funded for those who receive benefits-related Free School Meals (FSM) and attend a school in Bexley. Children and teens also get a free, well-balanced meal every day.
We want all children in the Bexley/Kent area to benefit from:
- Enriching Activities – learning new things and having fun.
- Good food – eating a tasty and nutritious meal and learning more about food and nutrition.
- Meeting people – socialising and enjoying being with friends.

What is the HAF Programme?
The HAF programme provides a variety of fun activities, including sports, food making activities, arts and crafts and other exciting opportunities to learn and develop skills. It’s for school aged children and young people from Reception to Year 11, and runs during the easter, summer and winter school holidays.
Places are funded for those who receive benefits-related Free School Meals (FSM) and attend a school in Bexley. Children and young people also receive a free balanced meal as part of their day.
Benefits-related FSM are available to children and young people if their parents are in receipt of one of the qualifying benefits. Please note that they are different from universal infant free school meals, which provide free meals to all pupils in reception, year 1, and year 2.
What times do you run your HAF programme for?
10am – 2pm
Can I pay extra to extend the day?
No. We are unable to accept funds for additional hours. If you require a longer day, please see our paid for places. Hours run from 8am-3:30pm.
What days do you run?
Monday – Thursday
How do I book?
Click the ‘Book Now’ button at the top right of the page. Create an account, then a profile for each of your children. PLEASE SELECT THE MEAL OPTION YOU WOULD LIKE TO RECEIVE! If it is asking you to pay, you have selected the wrong camp.
What should my child bring?
If your child could be equipped with a refillable drinks bottle and be dressed for all weathers.
What should my child wear?
Children should be dressed in sportswear e.g. shorts/tracksuit bottoms and a t-shirt with trainers. NO JEANS OR FLIP FLOPS!
