Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme in Joyden’s Wood.
At the Kinetic Kids Academy, we are proud and excited to be a member of The HAF Programme. Families in the Joyden’s Wood region receive assistance.
About the HAF Programme
The HAF programme offers a wide range of fun things to do, such as sports, making food, arts and crafts, and other fun ways to learn and improve skills. It is for kids and teens in Reception through Year 11 and takes place during the Easter, summer, and winter school breaks.
Places are funded for those who receive benefits-related Free School Meals (FSM) and attend a school in Bexley. Children and teens also get a free, well-balanced meal every day.
We want all children in the Bexley/Kent area to benefit from:
- Enriching Activities – learning new things and having fun.
- Good food – eating a tasty and nutritious meal and learning more about food and nutrition.
- Meeting people – socialising and enjoying being with friends.
What is the HAF Programme?
The HAF programme provides a variety of fun activities, including sports, food making activities, arts and crafts and other exciting opportunities to learn and develop skills. It’s for school aged children and young people from Reception to Year 11, and runs during the easter, summer and winter school holidays.
Places are funded for those who receive benefits-related Free School Meals (FSM) and attend a school in Bexley. Children and young people also receive a free balanced meal as part of their day.
Benefits-related FSM are available to children and young people if their parents are in receipt of one of the qualifying benefits. Please note that they are different from universal infant free school meals, which provide free meals to all pupils in reception, year 1, and year 2.
